I had been spending 2 weeks on this campus. I think everybody should choose this shool if your stay is over 3 months or you are able to speak English somehow becasue there is a chance to move into another campus which is for high level students. If your result of optional or mandatory test is good enough, you are going ot be transfered. Optionlal test takes palce 2 weeks after each term starts. The mandatory one is held at the end of term. Once your English level is 6, which means you have to go to the Chapis campus no matter what. (short stay may be taken into account as a reason to carry on staying on the main campus)


There are a couple courses you can choose to take. I took ESL which consists of 4 one to one classes and 4 group classes. All of my teachers were so determined, thoughtful and patient. I seldome heard student complain about anohter teachers too. If you are concered about the pronanciation of teachers, there is no need to be woried about it. Speaking of text books, we need to buy them before new term starts. In my case, It cost me around 1300 peso for 8 text books.


There are two or three japanese staff at the reception. If you have any problems or concerns, you can feel free to ask them for help. They are so kind and supportive. I guess EOP(Englihs Only Policy) is sort of strict to some extenct. I got to see some international staff roaming around in the hallway to check out if students are speaking their mothertoungue wiht yellow vest. The dining area is officially only a designated place for students to be able to speak our first language.

I assume there is no big problem about foods. In my case, I was into most of all cuisines. However, if you are pikcy about them, you may dislike some of them. I have to admit that a few menus let me down from time to time. we can choose tow type of main dishes. One is apycy. another one is not. I love the atmosphere in the dining area. It was so spacious and peaceful. there is also a small cafe. You can purchase breads and bevarages as well. But, the price is sort of steep to compare local price.

There is a gym on the secound floor. It is not that big. However, I assume that the equipments are enough to work out unless you are suhc a work-out fanatic. I basically used dambbells and a threadmill. You may be out of breath easily because of th high alltitude in Baguio.

You may want to use a laundry survise. the first thing you need to do is to buy the laundry courpon in the office. 100 peso for wash, 100 peso for dry, 100 peso for fold. As you might notice, It is sort of expensive. Unfortunatly, there is no balcony where we can hang our clothes if you are willing to wash your clothes by yourself unlike Chapis campus.

When it comes to the accomodation, my room was for 4 people. It is roomy enough not to feel stress. The room was divided into 4 compartments. Each person is providede wiht a bed, desk, chair, shelves and locker. I recommend that you should bring a pad-lock becasue of the private locker in spit of the fact that my stuff were never stolen even when I left my laptop, smartphone and wallet on my desk. I anticipate we should't be that sensisitive about your belongings. The cleaning service takes place twice a week, so the room was so clean. The bed sheets and pillow case are also changed one a week if I am not mistaken. The shower water pressure was strong enough, there was nothing wrong with the shower room. It is nesseccary to buy toilet paper by ourselves. Just for your information, there is no toilet paper in the communal toilet on the each floor. Sometime, the Wi-Fi condition was pretty irritating especailly after the bad weather. But, most of the time, It was so smooth. I could videos on youtube or movies on Netflix.

I have got a feeling that this school is rather popular. You had better apply for this as soon as possible if you are taking it into consideration. I can gurantee you that you will be able to satisfied with your stay if you are keen on studying English. Once again, the teachers are awsome. And, I suppose that Wi-fi enviromnt could be better than other launguage school in Baguio. One big thing I may complain could be the long line for each meal if it is a peak season. What I want leave with you is the rules are pretty strict. I heard some students got kicked out becasue they violated the regulations.
