There were three Japanese staff in this academy and at least one always stayed there.
Most of the staff in the pension were friendly.

総評コメント

I strongly recommend this academy for those who want to rest your brain by using Japanese out of class or people who want enough time for self study besides classes.

This was my second time to learn English in Cebu, that’s why I think I can make some comments based on my experiences by comparing those two schools. Hopefully, they’ll work well for readers.

ADVANTAGE
Firstly, CAGA has a unique system called “mother teacher”, which is literary a teacher like mother that try to meet the requests from students. This system easily made me ask a favor for the improvement of bad WiFi connection in my pension and class changes (WiFi connection was basically all good).

Compared with the previous academy, Spartan school, I could create a syllabus and take only speaking classes in the way I wanted. In addition to that, the quality of teachers were excellent. They were experienced teachers and always tried to have students state their opinions.

Toilets in the pension were like brand new and you can flush papers.

Some people did self-study on the rooftop in the pension and you can enjoy night views in Cebu for refreshment.

DISADVANTAGE
So called EOP, English only policy wasn’t there. I was told from a teacher that it’s good for some people whose English aren't in a high level but I sometimes felt unhappy when hearing Japanese.
Personally, students were less eager to learn English than those of the spartan school.

In general, both the school and pension were dusty and moldy. According to another student in a different room, the water pressure of shower was so weak that the water went down almost vertically.
